Book Talks
Most MCRA meetings include optional sessions entitled "Book Talks." Our members read the same book(s) and discuss them as a group. Our book selections include age appropriate readings for various grade levels and also professional books. Some months have a choice of books, but all books require that you submit a written summary on ways to use this book in your classroom. Book Talk CEUs are awarded separately from meeting CEUs.
In order to get full credit:
1. Read the entire book;
1. Submit your written report digitally by 3 pm the day of the meeting (unless otherwise noted) to Corinne Walls at the following email cfwalls@gmail.com;
3. Attend the Book Talk session and participate in the discussion.
