Session Description:

If you’re considering participating in Young Authors this year

you’ll want to be sure to attend this meeting.

You’ll hear all about the 2022-2023 YA Writing Project,

“Your Voice Matters: Celebrating EVERY Reader's Story”

so that you can inform your students of the theme and guidelines.

We will also help you with ways to introduce your students to the YA project,

and how to get them involved this year!

Our State President, Margaret Cuthbertson, defines our writing project this year in the following way:

"We all have our own thoughts, ideas, and voices and they are worth sharing and celebrating. As you and your students write, be encouraged to stay true to yourself, your beliefs, and YOUR story. I am looking forward to celebrating every reader's story as I read the entries this year."

Young Author's Judging will be on Saturday, November 5, 2022.
